Maker Space Junior presents Fall-themed crafts

MGPL Staff has worked hard to come up with fun and useful Fall-themed Take And Make crafts for adults to enjoy. For seven weeks

The Aspire Program at Marion Technical College (MTC) is a tuition-free service for people who need to work on basic math, reading, or writing skills that help them be more successful in their college courses, their employment situation, or their preparations for taking a high school equivalency (HSE) exam. Both college students and non-college students participate in Aspire classes.

Every summer for more than twenty years, the Mount Gilead Public Library has offered a summer reading program to keep kids and their family’s active and reading all summer long. While this year certainly had its challenges, the library is happy to call its 2020 Summer Reading Program a success.

Per Gov. Mike DeWine's announcement, the Mount Gilead Public Library will require all able individuals to wear a mask. Children under 10 may be in the library without a mask, though wearing one is highly recommended. We will continue to limit the number of people in the library at one time as well as continuing with our already in place social distancing measures. Curbside pick-up remains an option for all current card holders.

The Mount Gilead Public Library is looking for a friendly, energetic and customer focused individual to join our team in serving as part-time Library Aide for an average of 21 hours/week.

The board of the Mount Gilead Public Library is pleased to announce that Melissa Kipp has been named as its new Library Director.

Sign-Up today to have Storytime To-Go kits made for your reader. Each kit contains three to six books, activity page and at-home craft.

The Mount Gilead Public Library is now open to the public. Users must enter the library through using the doors on the first (parking lot) level.

We invite the community to tap into their imagination and dream of new beginnings, middles, and endings with this year’s 2020 Summer Reading Program  “Imagine Your Story,” designed to inspire patrons of ALL ages to dream big and envision their own story.
